🌍 UPCYCLE General Meeting 2026 – Ljubljana (28 June – 3 July 2026)
The UPCYCLE consortium gathered at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, for the 2026 General Meeting, bringing together Doctoral Candidates, supervisors, and project partners for five days of scientific exchange, collaboration, and networking.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress achieved across the project and strengthen collaboration between partners. Doctoral Candidates presented updates on their research, highlighting key achievements, current challenges, and upcoming milestones. A dedicated project meeting enabled consortium-wide discussions on project progress, data management, and alignment across the molecular, reactor, and process research scales, reinforcing the integration of activities toward UPCYCLE’s shared objectives.
The scientific programme continued with in-depth sessions dedicated to each research scale, where participants explored advances in molecular science, reactor engineering, and process development. These sessions fostered valuable scientific discussions, peer learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration, creating opportunities to strengthen connections between the different research activities and accelerate knowledge exchange across the consortium.
The week concluded with a Research Project Management training delivered by Fistral Training and Consultancy, providing Doctoral Candidates with essential skills in project planning, leadership, communication, and time management to complement their scientific development.
